It is our goal to connect food producers, growers and consumers, to encourage people to grow more of their own food, and to provide an outlet for local small-scale food growers, artisan food producers, local artisans and community members. Additionally, it is the purpose of the Sanford Farmers’ Market and the Sanford Downtown Legacy to provide a community gathering space for residents and visitors to Sanford.
We would like to have Children’s Activities available during the Farmers’ Market hours, such as face painting, petting zoo, local musicians etc. Contact us if you would like to be involved at or with the Market. We invite our local non-profit organizations interested in conducting an activity to pre-register for the Saturday of their choice contact the Market Manager.
